Humala River Lodge

Humala River Lodge consists of 10 luxurious river lodge rooms and 5 luxury safari tents, and is situated within the extraordinarily scenic greater Songimvelo Game Reserve. The diverse landscape, with several waterfalls and the spectacular gorges of the Komati, Msoli and Lomati rivers, makes this reserve one of the most attractive wilderness areas in the country. This 49 000ha malaria-free paradise lies in the Mpumalanga Province bordering Swaziland and is home to elephant, white rhino, the Cape buffalo, leopard and numerous other game and bird species. There are a variety of activities to enjoy including game drives, river bush walks, the rock art walk, fly-fishing, birding and indulging in a spa treatment. Should you prefer you can just rest, relax and soak up the beauty of your surrounds. For those wanting to explore the area, the lodge can also assist with arranging day and private tours.
